Torremolinos offers you many paths to enjoy nature
Walking is one of the healthiest sports, easy to practice and is within everyone's reach: some sneakers, a cap, sportswear, sun protection and to enjoy Torremolinos. An excellent place for hiking is the promenade, which is more than six kilometers along the sea. The Camino del Agua (video-presentation) is an ambitious project by the Torremolinos City Council that will allow you to plan a wider route, in a route that combines urban and mountain areas.
The municipality is also ideal for the most ambitious athletes, with long routes such as the Senda Litoral or the Gran Senda de Málaga stages.
The Cañada del Lobo
La Cañada del Lobo is a perfect place to discover the natural environment that surrounds Torremolinos. In the highest part there is a viewpoint from which you can get one of the best views of the Costa del Sol. It also has a refuge and a hostel to stay and live an experience in the middle of nature.

The Great Path - Stage 34
The Great Path of Malaga is a route that, in 35 stages, runs through the province throughout its nine regions, including Torremolinos. A route that you can do on foot, but that also has tracks for mountain biking, and multiple options for other sports.
One of its stages runs through the municipality of Torremolinos, which links Benalmádena and AlhaurÃn de la Torre.

Senda Litoral - Stage 6
The Senda Litoral is a great route that will link the two extremes of the Costa del Sol, from Estepona to Nerja. A beautiful journey along the Costa del Sol along the beaches, cliffs, promenades and places of exceptional nature. Stage number 6 runs through Torremolinos.

Nature walks are also organized, where you can enjoy the environment that surrounds Torremolinos on horseback. Likewise, you can enjoy equestrian shows in which you will understand the true essence of the Andalusian horse breed.
he now known "El Ranchito" Riding Center was founded in the 1940s. In 1982, José González, current owner of the club, acquired what is now "El Ranchito I", with 55 boxes, a 20x35m track and a Restaurant-Bar, completely reforming the existing facilities.
In the lands where "El Ranchito II" is located, in 1986 the 45 boxes, the covered track (20x40m), the colt track, the outdoor track (35x80m) and the large parking lot for buses and cars that visit the facilities were built on show days.
The "El Ranchito" Club Equitation Center is a school in which our instructors, with a high degree of experience, put all their dedication and patience to teach how to ride and love these docile animals; as well as the rider who wishes to increase his knowledge in dressage. Our goal is to create a love for the horse.
The "El Ranchito" Club Equestrian Center also presents an unusual show, "Ritmo a Caballo", based on rhythm and discipline, music and beauty, it is an authentic equestrian ballet. His choreographies are mounted on some reps of Dressage and Cowgirl, with clearly Spanish music and Andalusian classical costumes.
This equestrian center also offers rides, dressage classes and horse carriage.

The Mediterranean offers multiple possibilities all year round
Get close to the sea and get ready to enjoy. Get on a surfboard, go along the coast in your kayak or dive in and discover the surprises that the Mediterranean hides. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of around 20 degrees, Torremolinos offers multiple possibilities for water sports.
In addition, you can ride the waves on a jet ski, ride a pedal boat or feel the speed aboard a jet boat.
